' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' God Spelt Properly

Rating: 2.6

Trains arrived at Bangledish
full of death or dying

blood seeps under carriage doors
women with breasts cut off with machetes

all in the name
of partition/religion

the chauffer chats
of the recent past

struggling through
Chittagong traffic.

'There is only one God! '
I am assured

religion after religion

and I am glad
because one is bad enough

imagine
if they were dozens

all wrecking havoic

vieing for the same belief
in us little bunch of humans

I believe
in none

only in a good
that's done.

'Good' is 'God'
spelt properly.
