Knowing you made me realized

I've not been searching, when i thought i was

When i looking into those beautiful eyes of yours

I wonder where you have been all my life

I've been to wrong places

At the wrong and alien hours

In search for true love

God must have a good reason

As to why he sent you me when he did

He let me see a new day through you

That i never thought i would see

It's amazing how he took the time from his busy day

He went so far as to stop

Making stars and trees of gold

And he made me an angel that i could hold

An angel that i could kiss and touch

All for me, just me and myself

All for me, and no one else

Oh, how hard it must have been

To make the glow upon your skin

God sent me not just an angel

He sent me a caring heart

I've seen the beauty of the moon

I've seen the oceans gentle tide

I've seen the street made of gold

I've seen the wonders of the lands

But believe me when i say

All my life, I've never set my eyes

On something amazing and beautiful as you

God gave me that, you

He gave you me

To relish and be happy with

Because you are mine

Broken heart is a thing of the past

Now i know why it took him so long in making you

Now i know why he sent you me, when he did
