God Sends Us Angels Poem by Marilyn Lott

I thank God each and every day
For I truly do believe
That he sends Angels to observe
And to help us when we grieve

I feel He is always sensitive
To the hurt we feel within
And He does the best He can
To help us overcome our sins

For we are but simple mortals
We try to do the best we can
When we search inside our hearts
We can feel his steady hand

For the birds and trees and lakes
And all the beauty that He gives
To me is evidence to show that
On this earth is where He lives

Thank you God for all the Angels
That you send to me each day
I’ll try to remember to thank them
As I bow my head and pray!
