God's Thinking Poem by Leaking Pen

God's Thinking

Have you ever thought?
What was God's thinking,
Experimenting with his flocks
To amuse his angels..
He was observing us at first,
and left His temple to nature's whims
Where we pledged to God our absolution.
But each time thunder coughed with anger
And from fear we trembled.
Still God kept us alone, amused
For we gave Him quite the entertainment.
He laughed His way down to tears
Poured as rain from the clouds.
Then one day God got bored
I am not sure why…
Decided to unseal life's envelope
With His triple edged sword.
He implemented His new scheme
Divided our little sphere into three,
Jews, Christians and Muslims
Left the Hindus and Buddhist out
They seemed to have
Managed well without His aid.
God wore his armor and waited
To see what will happen next with
His gift to us: Free Choice.
But to god's chagrin,
-God drank heavily to forget-
Each time we went at it with a machete or a gun.
So much blood has been spilled throughout the ages,
It would take His stars in the galaxyn eternity
To count the murdered souls lost to conflict,
And God took one last look at each neighborhooud,
And found some wearing the Veil,
Some the Talmud,
And the rest wearring the Cross
Wished the Veil and the Talmud
Did not live across.
