God Is Our God Poem by devin baurle

God Is Our God

A child is a child till he or she is dead
A rose is a flower till it is picked and dies
A parent is a parent untill the child moves out
But stilll is a parent whos child moved out
A life is a life till you do nothing with it
Then it is just a thing
A thing in wich is given to you, not because you deserved it, but because you needed it
God our almighty God gives it to you for his sake not for yours
Not because you arent you but an image of him himself
A human image, not as great, not as powerful, but just as important
with out us who would God be able to look upon and think of how grand he did just building us from dirt of the earth
DIrt from the ground on wich he put under our feet
How would the animals have names if he had not made Adam to name them
How would we have been a race if he had not made Eve to be with Adam
Think of how lonley that race would have been
We then would not be the human race but the Adam race a race on wich only depended on a single human for all of eternity
We are not human because we deserve it but because we need it
If life was not limited how would we survive
Over population, low supply of food
no matter how much food God would supplie us with it still would not be enough due to greedy people
look at us now if we lived for most people are starving are dieing
we are not fulfilling gods wishes but yet just forgetting them
all the homeless people would not be homless if we followed his laws
A person is not a person untill they help one anouther
