Stephen Cahill Furlong (23 August 1992 / Holles Street, Dublin, Republic of Ireland)
My one God-given angel, imagine the possibilities
We could encounter like there were no other entities.
Our days would last much longer than twenty-four hours
And all forms of pure happiness imaginable would be ours.
We would fly above all of the earth’s limitations
And make our adventures more colourful than animation.
No rain, no clouds, just a lifetime of love in the sun;
At least it would feel that way knowing that I’m with The One.
But sadly, this is all just fantasy however;
I can’t tell if you’d share such feelings for my kind – ever!
I see you sometimes, you see me, very few words shared;
Telling you my one desire is something I’ve never dared.
If you could find it in your heart to love me as I do you,
I’d find my purpose to live life happily all the way through.
