God Dwells Within Us Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

God Dwells Within Us

Rating: 5.0

dwells within us
in our mind soul
eventually
after decades
passing
we see through

God's eyes
God's will
comforting smiling
as God does
our light is God's
light we live love
give in sunshine
as God smiles

when storms come
God is our rock
God is our hope
shelter we have become
God's child to the core
of our brief changed being

The grace of God, as the song says, Amazing Grace is the amazing grace of God. This Christian hymn with words written by the English poet and clergyman John Newton is special, because Newton was a blackbirder. a master on a slave ship, human trafficking slaves from Africa. In a violent storm when the ship seemed it would definitely sink, Newton prayed to god to save him. Any can be saved by God. I love that song. I love God.

you are talking about the state of Grace as Blake says, where mercy, pity, peace and love, there God is dwelling too...
