God Chose Israel.....
God called as His chosen bearer
Before the world had heard
As constant devoted sharer
To all mankind His Word

Life's journey, still will Jacob roam
Struggling as days before
In shadow of the golden dome
Blind to Salvation's Door

Although the Torah long revealed
Salvation's only Way
Man's stubborn eyes will fail to yield
Until God's pending day

When Israel, knowing his name
Stops wrestling, true life's King
Seeks and finds who'll end man's shame
Eternal praise to sing

Though Jacob's eyes linger as blind
God's love lavishes on
Until the time is ripe to find
Jesus! His risen Son

Seeing the reason why He died
His precious blood was poured
Witnessing, then life's turning tide
Jesus, will reign as Lord

A thousand years will thus remain
Living with God's Right Hand
Apart from those living in vain
Rejecting God's command

Though Israel seems rejected
Suffering pain's despair
The future will show respected
Who lived God's Word to share.....
