Go On, My Son Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Go On, My Son

I shall look at no one
Other than only one
Who keeps me going?
With all His blessings

Many people tried to block the way
But he was there all the way
To protect me and save
This made them to think and behave

It shall be too much
"Thank you" lord as such
It shall be demeaning of term "almighty"
I am down already

I stand firm and not always afraid
The rules and principles are laid
"Keep faith in Him" they said
No one shall applause with attention paid

I hear the voice from deep
That forces me to keep
The spirit and conscience very clear
Go on my son" keep no fear"

men may come, and men may go, but i go on for ever, as versed by the great victorian bard, Alfred Lord Tennyson in his 'Brook'... the kind of robust optimism keeps you go on, as the never failing guard within you prompts to proceed to promising premises of peerless possibilities. God bless, very inspirational piece of poesy.
