Hello old friend
friend of the family
friend that we wish would go away
Back you come creeping silent
keeping us unaware of your deathly approach

Hello hated enemy of mine
to many family and friends have you visited
to many now i cannot see
go begone seek not here this day
seek here never again

farewell my enemy i wish to say
farewell never to return i wish was true
but come you have rearing your head
reached out your hand and touched poisoned yet again

now the wait the pain the unknowing
now we wait for test on test to find the truth
where are you hidden your insidious coils spreading
reveal yourself to us
reveal where you have touched

find you we will drive you out we will try
for you are no friend of ours
enemy killer destroyer this you are
deceiver silent monster hidden from view
begone from us and return no more

you will loose
for we will be victorious
begone foul friend
Cancer begone





For my Dad as he starts a new battle
For my Mum, Aunt and Gran who fought to the very end
