Glow Worm... Poem by Mark Heathcote

Glow Worm...

Glowworm holds me in your fires blood
You're cloying light squelching in the mud
I hear your heart in the stillness of a beat
Because my love nearer fails to live or die
I feel it; within every footfall, I walk the street.
Glowworm crushed beneath my feet
I tell a lie, my hearts too dull, too weak.
