Global Distractions Poem by Tushar Ray

Global Distractions

Oh my immature mind
Always discriminate the truth from untrue
Holding the truth strongly
So, mental barriers will slowly disappear
Just keep your intellect aware!

Oh my mind, in the sensual world
Golden deer's are roaming around
Tempting you by every turn
So intellect may lose its ground
At any moment
Not becoming alert all the time

The mirages in the midst of desert
Distract a thirsty traveler
Due to his craving to quench thirst:
Yet, brief holding of urge
Helps him to reach destination
With some difficulty, at last!

Hey brother,
Illusions are everywhere around here
Try to stay away from them
By holding focus on truth and be firm
So illusions cannot subdue anymore
