Glitter Diva Poem by Justin Gildow

Glitter Diva

Tonight there's a party on the street
And surely enough
You and I were fated to meet
Glitter Diva

You're dressed like a hardcore party girl
And I'm dressed all in black
I'm just trying to fit in with this crowd tonight,
my dear

You are who you are
I am who I am
We are who we are
We are what we are
Tonight

Tonight
We're stars
Even if it feels decadent
We're stars
There's no other way to go about it

Who knows how the night will turn out
You don't know how it's going to turn out
And neither do I
Yet many are around us dancing
Many are around us partying
The DJ is spinning brilliantly
He's doing a wonderful job

Everyone's having fun tonight
Under the lights
On the street
Beside the buildings
Even the alleyways

Glitter Diva
I could get along well with you
Or we could compete against each other
Friendly competition that is

The night's young
Glitter Diva
Let's celebrate tonight
Like our lives depend on it
Let's make it a night we so won't forget
