Glimpses Of Eternity Poem by Basu Gautam

Glimpses Of Eternity

Last night dreams wrapped me in its woolen blanket
Flew me to where they create time
From the top of the rainbow, I heard the music that rhymed
The landscape before my eyes all sublime
From the windowpane, dreams threw me freefall
And, as the music emerged from the deep underneath
For the first time I could hear the universe breathe
Angels and humans and gods all danced
With their divine beauty
They took my dreams and me to have glimpses of eternity
They showed me glimpses of eternity
