Glass Shrine Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Glass Shrine

Glass shrine
Before whom snakes
Hiss since the early dawn
Before the night was out.

Slow
The magmas rise
From Earth's interior
Washes

Turbid
In the Earth's entrails
Yet
Outside a calm
Reigns
Earth's mask.
