i guess i'm not much into abstracts. but thanks for sharing. maybe something is lost on me due to me being a citizen of a breakaway colony? but i did read through most of your list of postings and they sounded very encouraging, though they are infrequently given out. encouraging to the other poets i mean.

I think some concepts within the poem escaped my grasp upon the first read. It feels like something you could read a hundred different times and get something different out of it every time you read it. It's extremely unique and abstract. Thank you for sharing. (Report) Reply

I'm trying to send this via email but it won't let me! ! ! ! Poemhunter bastards! ! ............................

You'll get it. Keep trying! (In the mean time you're coming up with some really original stuff. No one is doing your type of stuff and that's great!)

I'm working on one where I'm going to put the wrong word in places where you would least expect it. It's kind of a nonsense thing but it'll be fun to read. I'll send you some of it when I get it right. Right now it's just floating around in my head. S. (Report) Reply

Oh Man! This is so freakin' good! ! I love it. Less is more Man! I love the repeats akin to Whitman. There's just so much I like. The smoking. The soap opera. This is an exquisite abstract painting that I want to hang in my living room! I'm flattered you gave me a nod as well. Thanks! (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
