Giving In

They took our life and tore it apart
Before they knew we had it all
They are living their lives
While you and I are still lost in a sea of tears
On a boat searching for land
I wish I could be the man you deserve
A man who would stand up to his family and stay with the one he loves

I like this poem.It states with fine imagery and very clearly how your own feelings and emotions are not being recognised.10. (Report) Reply

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
