Give Me One Chance

The sun is peeping
thru the glass.
Telling, 'Get up
to all of us.'
Blanket still warm
hugs me tight.
Will I leave it,
is it right?
Eyes are willing
not to open.
Pillow saying,
'cool your brain.'
Duty calls me,
have to leave.
Oh! give me one chance,
I wanna sleep.

Poem of the Day

poet John Gay

Friendship, as love, is but a name,

On more than one, find not one friend.
