Girl, You Should Have Seen The Signs

Girl, you should have seen the signs
He never really loved you
He constantly manipulated the situation
And tore your poor heart in two
Tears are falling endlessly
And you are enduring nothing but pain
But now you can start over
And you can also get out of the rain

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

Only in sleep I see their faces,
Children I played with when I was a child,
Louise comes back with her brown hair braided,
Annie with ringlets warm and wild.
