Girl With Golden Eyes Poem by Ellen Kang

Girl With Golden Eyes

The girl with golden eyes
Beautiful luscious eyes, smooth silky hair, soft lips
Her voice as sweet as a bird singing
She fills you with lust and desires

She seduces you and uses you for own greed
Once she is done and has no other use for you
She simply ignores you
She is selfish, cynical, evil, and dark
She cares for no one and only for herself

She is a demon, the devil’s wife; she is the seven sins herself
Yet you do not see this
You do not see this till you are on the verge of death
She stares at you laughing
While you reach for a hand, she simply slaps it away

She watches you fall
With only a grin on her face
And a chuckle
Her last words are
“Bye bye now”

The girl with the golden eyes
Eyes so luscious, smooth silky hair, soft lips
Her voice as sweet as a singing bird
She is demon that will watch you fall
Fall to death and she will watch you find the “light”
