Gift From Heaven Poem by Elizabeth Lindberg

Gift From Heaven

Rating: 5.0

My eyes have looked upon a thing,
that took my breath away,
in the velvet blanket of the night,
a star came home to stay,
It struck a chord within my soul,
It lifted up my spirit,
A harmony so beautiful,
I believe my heart could hear it,
This night-song touched a part of me,
I didn't know was there,
A new or old reality,
was now awake, aware,
I stood stuck dumb in wonderment,
as I saw with heart and mind,
this marriage of our mother Earth,
to ageless father time
