Giant Fear Poem by Aric Beers

Giant Fear

Fe fi fo fum is how the story goes
But what I told a tale that no one really knows
A tale were giants aren't that mean and never ever cuss
When the evil villains seem to be us
Back when giants roamed the land
And gave help wherever they could lend a hand
But in our pride we denied them grace
And tried to conquer the gentle giant race
Mankind surprised their friends and began to kill them off
They tried to run but we followed them like a cough
We hung in tight and took them as our slaves
And all the others we laid in giant graves
In their fear they hatched a cunning plan
To get away from the ever evil man
They took to the skies and left the world below
And there they stay for fear of their foe
