Ghost Of You Poem by Olivia Capulet

Ghost Of You

Come into my prison
And I dare you to escape
In these walls of beaten marble
Every failing is the same
Will you wander there to save me?
For in darkness you will find
You’ll lose yourself to shadows
In the safety of your mind

Step into the silence
And I wonder if you’ll scream
There’s no one here but phantoms
And the fallen do not dream
Will you stay there just to hold me?
For in death you’ll see the truth
I lost myself in darkness
Just to be the ghost of you

Capulet, this poem rocks with the rythm and the story being told. This is an example of a 'good poem'. Thanx
