Ghetto Degrees Poem by Stevens Cadet

Ghetto Degrees

Rating: 5.0

Are our world leaders truly tuned in
To whom they're ruling
Dropped out of College
But life didn't stop giving lessons
We can't all be politicians
But we need more Elon's
To create, elevate, and think outside the box
Change our lifestyles & values we got
The prettiest girl might not dial you
But Forbes may file you
Teachers called for a mistrial, quickly they judged your root
Yet if they investigated deeper they'd see
There were so many lemons that came from your bitter adversities
Group partners are missing class just to make ends meet
Being forced to subtract their innocence before reaching 13
The project was the beginning of his thoughts to make a product that's less competent
The only one's who say money is not the root of all evil
Are the one's whose printing it
Who will fund his dreams
Or what we do for release
Where is the structure or generational wealth
To acquire what all men seek
My hoods biggest problem is not Economy
We just need more Jobs
For this broke mentality won't help us escape this mental block
Some choose a quicker fix
That usually ends with death or a bid
I speak the truth through this pen
We need some new ways to win
