Getting There/Heaven's Lotus Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Getting There/Heaven's Lotus

Last night,
I had an dream everlasting,
One where we soared the skies,
As heaven became every look in your eye,
We became close as breath,
As conversation became the clouds,
Soft pillows of comfort,
Any doubt of fear faded,
As we flew in each others arms,
A simple caress of reassurance,
The sun shone beneath an idea of perfection,
So many pretty faces where passed,
But None could compare to the smile you gave,
The sweetness of your cheeks,
The cheerfulness of your voice,
An ocean of violets in bloom,
Thats blossomed as the seasons changed in the blink of your eye,
You deserve so much more than you receive,
So much more,
Reason being,
Life seems so much better in your arms, a parade that brings life with every hello as God has truly shone his light on you,
A reason to look forward to each new breath,
A tremble overtakes the skin,
As lips quiver at the heights given by such a grin,
Metaphoric to the winds thats given reason for the chill bumps that quiver at your very touch,
A Mental personification of heaven on earth,
Sheer bliss,
As you are God's gift to man,
A revalation thats become fiction of reality as the lines of your hand trace mine as we soar through the skies before eyes awake,
