Germany Vs Spain Poem by Leslie Edwards

The last semi final in the World Cup today,
With Germany and Spain set to play,
The Germans so precise and eager to win,
Spain has the heart a loss almost a sin,
With excitement promising a heated meet,
I watch the game on the edge of my seat!

Though the Germans have a strong defense,
Spain's faster pace just makes good sense,
The trick for Spain is to keep up the pace,
To send the Germans home in disgrace,
The half time comes with no one scoring,
But the match is really far from boring,

Spain's pushing hard keeping the fight for the net,
If they keep up the pace, Spain will be set!
Time after time Spain takes ball possession,
They demonstate almost an animal aggression,
Finally Spain scores at the seventy two,
Doing what Germany has not allowed others to do,

The last eight minutes were an exciting time,
The Germans knocked out, Spain's win sublime!
With hopeful hearts for a win for thier Crown,
They face the Dutch for the final round,
Neither has won the Cup before,
But my money's on Villa for the winning score!
