Genius Poem by Paul Frederick

Genius

Rating: 5.0

Sweat-laden
looking for action
Take a shower
For an hour
See skeezers
Ready to block
Do I pretend?
I'm a genius
Who does that?
I've gleaned
Was it ever this difficult
So religious
Finders keepers
Dog-bone seekers
Slump
Plump
A motion in action
inarticulate drone-zone
Is it known?
Is it a king?
It's a computer
A machine
so will I duplicate?
triplicate?
Money?
Honey?
I "observes" to yonder
Put things together
Fill my belly
that's scary
women or men?
results or ken?
i came up
with an ointment
a genii's commitment
to rid this world
of a scourge
titrate
belate
keep knocking
it's a shoe-in
Devil give me my due
one of two
if we can manufacture viruses
yet cure soft curses
but it's like this
does senile miss?
does clean clean?
does a needy need?
Lemme come clean
I stored the formula
like an archive
yet like a virus
it's catching on
