Genesis Poem by Leaking Pen

Genesis

Rating: 0.5

What's in a name?
Oh seeker of fame
She calls me friend!
I'm her latest trend
'Oh God' I say:
Is this her way?
To my love
I get the nod
Do I want to be?
Her eyes to see
How do I feel?
If I were in her feet
On a one-way street
Does my heart
Exists a la cart
Ready to serve
And hers to curve
When I'm not sure
Or feel immature
Her deeds reflect
My feelings deflect
Her killer intentions
Are my pent up tensions
My heart hesitates oh no!
To her latest show
But she's a beauty
Who's always snooty
I am not able to walk
Away from her sweet-talk
A trap she cleverly lays
I can't resist her ways
Or for Man to avoid
Life on steroid
Built in his genes
Nature's means
To reinvent life
From harmony or strife
Either or to be my wife
Selection in full force
No one can alter its course
I must be fit
To submit
To her test
And open my vest
Life is best
On wings of youth
Nature's truth
Procreation
Adaptation
My station
In celebration

Paul, this is indeed a very entertaining read. I could not stop reading until I could finish the reading all the lines. It is also very intriquing that you choose to write in very short lines and this makes reading really much easier to continue without stop.
