A dollar ninety nine gas at the pumps cost these days
OPEC did it all in a couple of ways
To illustrate that WAR is a waste and amazed
The greedy in America who have profited in our malaise

Killing just to kill and buildup armament plants
Using all of our credit to pay for it in advance
Generations killing without even having a cause
All for bottom lines that reflect a profit, not a pause

Is this why we gave birth to our children just to die
In fights that only profit a few who are willing to lie
And cheat and steal and murder while so many nations cry
For money, we were bought and were so easy to buy

Generation Kill! What a legacy
Doing away with hope and democracy
Generation Kill! The American way
Celebrating death till our dying day

Words have more power than any killing possess
Put them into action and and watch the age just progress
Killing is for fools who really don't give a damn
About the advancement of society and the development of our lands

So as you pay so little for the gas at the pumps
Remember it was not war that made the prices take a dump
It was the will of a few to profit from the greed of war
As they milk the few cents away from those they abhor
