Gems Of Love Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Gems Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Sea of stars spread Scarborough wings
Bright axis where bucolic light sings
Halo of ice shimmers like azure fire
Kyanite shelters unfettered desire
Bright night snow like tanzanite romance
Blood blossoms tribes of ceremonial dance
Ribbons of Anglo Saxon beryl
Chimes ring throughout the world
Music incarnates living crystal ghosts
Spanish soul dreams hot onyx rainbows

We celebrate virgin forests of time
Bamboo thighs ripe with topaz and thyme
Amethyst heals the euphoric citrine
Pearls garnish the shaman seas
Butterflies in valleys of color
Your dress of lilies and heliodor
Children dance out of emetine centuries
Celebrate velvet parrots flying free
Every dream peering in the heights
Opal, zircon, sapphires, Alexandrite

Journey together with feathers of joy
Love has come to deserts of turquoise
See the ancient constellations sigh
Herculean winds and hurricanes cry
Dress amidst the ghost sage
Bricks from fortresses of jade
Peridot and ancient royal rubies
Swim amidst mermaid’s liquid dreams
Drums roll like Gaelic emerald islands
Wrought iron sired in purple suns

Sing my love like swarthy goldfinch croon
We are lands of ancient Scapolite moons
Leather sumptuous as mauve meadows
Wear coral reeves in your betrothed soul
Tourmaline courts the moonstone fire
Bring scarves of Aphrodite’s sphene desire
We are the Chrysoberyl rings of rituals truth
Wedding bells, tides, rivers, magenta pools
Brass bed of passionate roses grow
We enter ceremonies of diamonds and gold

Generations pass the gems of endearing love
