Game Of Life Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Game Of Life

Rating: 4.7

Naughty Nature!
Can't you spare me now!
You played with me when I was an infant,
you played with me when I was a child,
you played with me when I was a boy,
you played with me when I was a youth.
You played with me even when I was matured,
and I always defeated you.
Now I am old,
and you are taking revenge of your past defeats.
All right, play and defeat me once again,
life is a game,
may be a win or a defeat,
It's a lovely fun to play this game!

a good joyful poem of competing against life's tribulations, with the understanding it's the taking part that counts? ..............well written.

How lovely! ! The life has been transformed into a long drawn game in which the man applies his wits to secure a win at every stage- from childhood to old age. Here, I think the ultimate winner is neither the life nor man but death which calls the final shot. Congrats and thanks a lot, Sir. life is a game / may be a win or a defeat, It's a lovely fun to play this game!

These simple words hold so much truth. We try to hold on to our childhood, our youth and in old age then to life itself but in the end Narure holds it supreme in the game of life. Even in defeat it is a beautiful game. Thank you for sharing and congratulations for the member poem place.
