Funny Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Funny

Funny

It's funny
We have eyes and ears
We endure and we curse
"They were wrong...yester-days"
Yet, to-day we are blind, we are deaf

We talk of the Blacks, Civil-Rights
But not of Bush's bark and attacking Iraq:
"Change name of French-fries; break the French Wine."

We write books on the Queen triple-nine
But confirm oppression, government and senate
‘Syrian toxic gas, supplied by England' is silent,
Burning of a young man in Jerusalem...
We're funny
