Full Moon Poem by Elena Sandu

Full Moon

Rating: 4.5

Full moon would you let me
hide all my love behind your light?
Wanted so much to dance for you tonight.
Tonight, you were so beautiful
that I tried to waltz for you
but my feet felt tired, old and heavy
on the wet, unkind asphalt!
So please accept only my soul
ignore, forget all about
my flesh, and blood, and bones
too strongly related to asphalt...
Full moon please,
hide me all
behind your light.
Tonight.

hide me all behind your light, so I can spread on the slate, of earth, tender leaves of heart, my soul can dance in delight. Elena, wonderful imagination! ! you have brought for me mid morning boost! !
