Fulfillment
Like the tree needs its shadow from the morning sun,
I wait for your words till the day is done,
I crave nothing except your loving soul,
Without Love we are Nothing,
Not a thing at all.
Those first three lines are a capsule of the benefits of a loving relationship. As I read and re-read, in the back of mind I saw a couple coming home after being separated by a day at their jobs and beginning the evening-long conversation which binds them together day after day. That's the fulfillment that comes from a loving rapport. Your poem makes it very immediate and very desirable.
