Fruit Of The Vine



Prepare to meet your God today –Amos.4: 12
The morrow may not dawn –Pr.27: 1
Bear Heaven fruit along The Way –Gen.4: 4
A crop of souls reborn –Ro.7: 4


Beware in Christ o barren wife –Mt.25: 24-30
In churches tall and fine
The Gardener nears with pruning knife
To trim His Precious Vine –Mt.3: 10


The fig tree cursed by Heaven's Lord –Mk.11: 14-20
Perished from stem to root –Mk.11: 20-21
The Word went forth just like a sword
On that which bore no fruit


For twelve long years a woman bled –Mt.9: 20
Her gold and silver gone –Mt.5: 26
“If I but touch the cloak, ” she said –Mt.9: 21
“Of Christ, God’s Lamb & Son”


Power released a fretful soul –Lk.8: 46
Touching with trusting hand
God’s substance made the woman whole
Just as in faith she’d planned –Lk.8: 48


Today that power’s in Heaven’s Flame –Ac.1: 8
The Holy Ghost within –Eph.3: 17
He comes to lift Christ’s holy name –Jn,15: 26
Through purging filthy sin –Mt.3: 11-12


The simple tree on Calvary hill –Ac.5: 30
Bore Christ God’s Seed divine –Mt.16: 16
He died that He would grow until –Jn.12: 24
The earth has drunk Life's wine –Mt.28: 19


Delight when God may come to prune
The parts we find so sweet
He’ll never see them come to ruin –Eze.18: 32
Who sit at Jesus’ feet…
