Frozen Emotions Ice Berg Deep Thaw Melt Poem by Terence George Craddock

Frozen Emotions Ice Berg Deep Thaw Melt

the down the out the lost the lonely
those in hurt those in pain those in need
they come to me they search me out lost
in problems emotional overload their need

I wait I make time I listen patiently

as silently sadly
onion skin layers
are stripped away

so often decades
old problems
childhood troubles
trauma stay

locked away
frozen emotions
ice berg deep suppressed

never supplanted
with joy happiness
never resolved erased

they come to me their confessor
their shaman their salve healer
between bite choking raw emotions
are finally life problems addressed

between hung heartache tears
are faced first emotive fears
memories neuroses living nightmares

can erode swallow sanity
unresolved issues haunting horrific
is a worm eating out brain reality
