Frozen Poem by Matthew Foor

Frozen

What once was a slumber
Now Rebuked
Aimless wind
Throwing razor blades at my face
An impalpable agenda
The weather takes another sharp turn
Amiable, the day of last
Sheer and utter depravity this day
Wind having a life of its own
Somehow knowing then you are walking alone
Pertinacious, it tries to knock you off your feet
Intractable, the gusts kiss the concrete
Freezing what little water they find
Therefore, I walk face down
Making sure not to succumb
To the frozen patches under foot
Mother nature's heart is cold
Her heart is frozen...
