From This Day Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

From This Day

From this day I won't live in me
My mind won't roam the realm
Far and wide as it has got trapped and not free

From this day I won't come out
My heart is no more interested
To see birds coming out from nests and shout

From this day I won't feel any pain
When clouds hover over rooftops
And from inside my room I will miss the rain

From this day I won't ever enjoy
The sweet tune a stream plays
And birds flying over it shedding plumes in joy

From this day I will live in you
You heart will be my shelter
On leaf of your love I will dance as a drop of dew
