From The Grave Poem by Dave Alan Walker

From The Grave

Rating: 5.0

I'm Walking
through a graveyard
late one night
Not feeling quiet right

I feel like
I'm not really here
I can't feel my heart beating

Then something grabs me
from a grave
I say
Who the hell are you

They say
I am you

This paints a haunting picture, and really brings the reader to understand the shock of the subject. It leaves you with a sense of confusion from the subject, but also an immediate sense of enlightenment! ! Very nice read! !

such abstract thinking, and yet, not.....as we face our mortality we must realize that we are close to the grave, but......what does that really mean? .....blessings

We should all listen to the voices from the grave. We still have the oppurtunity to change, for one day we all return ashes to ashes. Great message in yet another thought provoking poem.
