From On High

Enuma Elish or Genesis
Came forth all life
Then peaceful rest

From on high we once did dwell
We danced on dreams as we did sail

We heard the waves of oceans filled
With Tiamat's tears, a sound so still

The waters parted,
We breathed the sky

The earth was formed,
The clouds on high

As joyful songs
Of birds did fly

The myth of time
And space remain

No matter how
We choose its name

From lesser god's
We are bereft

As From On High
Creation rests
