From nothing, I'm proud to have something.
From no base, I formed my base with nothing,
Just by accepting the status, that I'm nobody.
Tackling a day at a time, I learned from errors,
And tried not to repeat, the same eerie errors.
Being nobody, I expected nothing from anyone,
But I toil around the clock, to unearth something.
With the something, I tried to make ends meet.
I kept trying things, anything that I stumbled on,
Just to become somebody, even without anybody.
Life hasn't been that fab, easy without someone.
But even with the dark clouds drifting above me,
I paddled stoutly, to sustain balance with nothing.
I treasured all feats, but took every defeat as dare.
Despite having nobody, I still planned and hoped,
As if there's someone, somewhere ready to provide.
I learned early on, to understand life, and to assist,
Anyone if I can, and to expect nothing in return.
Living life, through the goodwill of others, to offer
Taught me, to give out even the nothing I earn or
Get, to others in desperate need, even to strangers.
Being nobody, I kept an open mind, to everyone,
Willing to learn and share, as I went with the wind,
Accepting lows while, battling odds, to attain highs.
Being nobody, without someone, and expecting,
Nothing from anyone, but learning and sharing,
The nothing I can earn, with everyone en route,
I've sailed the tides, from nobody, to somebody.
