A package awaits
Skeptically by the door
Smelling of flowers
A woman hoists it
And brings it inside
Out of the pouring rain
The youngster
Recieves the package
And pulls out a necklace
She talks to her mama
Of the little boy
From Texas
On whom
Her heart is set on
