From Dabedra - 20/1/2003 Poem by Danny Draper

From Dabedra - 20/1/2003

I ignored my loves entreats
As I laid beside her
And wrote a poem
Those sweet and subtle
Gentle advances
A nipple in her fingers dances
Enticing but receding chance
A diminishing night of romance
I wrote on and she withdrew
With dignity enough for two
Rolled and curled up
In the sheet
And discretely went to sleep.

Another night I’ll have to keep
My thoughts inside my head locked up
And surrender to my lady love.

............senses unsatisfied, In bed you turned aside: Thought order not to be denied.
