From Afar Poem by Tim Cronin

From Afar

From afar
From icy isolation mountain tops, or the cruel sea floor
From endless sand saharas, burning in day, freezing in night
From across parking lots, out bus windows
Even sitting in unromantic Chester
Miles between, down hills, 'cross streams, over rail lines
My word shrines are erected
For you
