Friendship Poem by Alfred Ramos

Friendship

Thought you were my friend
But sometimes friendships end
For no reason at all
But we got to get up from the fall
Around the corner, around the bend
Waits a new experience, a new friend
Give a smile, give a wink
Don’t care about what people think
Climb every mountain to the top
Keeping searching, don’t stop
And many a friend you’ll find
Some in front, some behind
It’s sad to see a friend disappear
But if you’re going to live in fear
Anyone can interrupt your stride
And it could hurt your pride
Move on, move up
Let another friendship fill your cup
Don’t close the door to your heart
A new friendship is the best part
