Friends Or Not! Poem by Sophie Shaw

As I lie here hopelessly,
I wonder if the world around me cares,
If they do care,
Who are they thinking of.

Then I think of that one person,
A person that only cares about herself,
She struts around as if shes all that,
But shes not,
Many people don't realize that she only cares about herself,
But I do.

But then I think of a bunch of other people,
People that care about others as well as themselves,
People that are there for you in times of need,
These people are known as friends,
A true friend understands your past,
Believes in your future,
Accepts you today the way you are
And most of all friends love you.

I know I am not always true to my friends,
But I do know that my friends understand,
That sometimes there are days that I'm not myself,
And I Love them all for being there for me and for just being them!
