I wish we could
Be friends forever
Here is our chance
It's now or never

Why is it that
Boy and girl
Are said to be
From different worlds?

We've gone too far
We can't go back
The trust in friendship
Is what you lack

You've hurt me so badly
I hope that you know
When you start to ignore me
I won't let the tears show

I thought I could trust you
But it turns out I can't
I'm starting to fall
My world's on a slant

I watch you walk away
As though I haven't said a word
The only thing that's falling apart
Is my hurt and lonely world
