Friends. Poem by anju addanki

Friends.

Rating: 5.0

Of all the lovely gifts that life can spend,
The best of all is a Treasured Friend.
When kindly mother sends you tasty feasts,
Friends are there to share your eats!
A friend who stands by,
When the sky is grey,
Grabs your umbrella when it starts to rain.
All friends are there when you need them,
They are even there when you don't -
A friend is there for a walk in the park,
And leaves you staring blank in the dark!
A friend is always loyal and true,
And lends you a 'kerchief'-
When you are blue,
When the 'kerchief' gets all wet and drippy,
Snaps the friend-
'Don't forget the LAUNDRY FEE.'
