Friend Poem by Neela Nath Das

Friend

Rating: 5.0

You shape my heart
As you like to.
Sometimes be my lover,
To love if you can do.
Be a sage and advise me,
You're a linker of God and Earth,
Or the worst enemy.

Beautiful description of friend Neela. But the last lines did puzzled me as they are quiet contrary to each other. You're a linker of God and Earth, Or the worst enemy...........so let me just conclude in some way that there is a sage as well as enemy inside me.... I loved it as it left me puzzled.. Quiet interesting read.

A linker of God or a messenger of God gives advices and instructions in a certain frame work of circumstances, by the passage of time the circumstances change but the followers stick to that advice or instruction and these are the obstinate followers who present a picture of that great leader as if he was the worst enemy of humanity. This may be true in your specific case.
