Optimism at an all time high
I find it hard to deny
myself happiness
even when stepping on broken glass
I will make it
because I am ME
emotional, strong, caring
sometimes daring

I love the feel of life
It's not perfect
but i'll be fine
not everything is divine
I hit bumps
Jump over others

Love the way it feels
to live
to give
to hopefully love
to look above
and know something better is coming

Moving forward
never stopping
to look back
What was left behind
cannot come
where I am going

Is freedom bound
joy found
Love renowned
